Well, it's been a while since I posted here. It appears that I have angered the builders that own julington creek .com... they keep altering my wiki post!

Anyway, I have added a utility at: tools. It allows you to convert from/to almost any measurement (e.g. Area, Computer Specifications, Density, Energy, Force, Length and Distance, Mass, Power, Pressure, Speed, Temperature and Volume). Please check it out!

In an attempt to broaden the test base for the "voting" icons, I have added them to news items on the page NEWS .

I am furiously testing this feature and I will soon add the ability for logged in users to add their own news to neighborhoods.

Today I rolled out the pre, pre, pre test version of the VOTING icons. It is only available on the first page at the Julington Creek Plantation Community Website. If this works well, I will add the little smiley faces to as many things on the site that I can.

It has a list of local schools and emergency numbers. Plus, I added all the utilities (JEA, BellSouth...) I could think of.

Julington Creek Plantation Businesses.

This morning I added the first iteration of the Business Listing page:

Soon, I'll give you the ability to add your business if it's not on the list. This page is intended to be a "yellow pages" like listing and will always be free. In the future, I will replace a businesses text ad with a Graphic (picture) advertisement and/or coupon for paid ads.

This weekend I will be concentrating my efforts on making the Julington Creek Plantation Web Site look and "feel" better. I've added graphics elements and some better separation of areas on the pages.

SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is the key to getting to the top of the hill. I've been doing it for years with some pretty good luck. Many other SEO "professionals" try to cheat Google, Yahoo!, MSN (most are quite successful at cheating) but I'm trying to go down the path of "good".

This weekend I will add more interactive tools to the site which will allow for my mysterious "voting" concept to come to life!!!

I have finally added the ability to log in and out of the site (for the future "voting" system). There is also a link to create a new account on the main page as well as the login page.

Julington Creek Neighborhood Descriptions

Today I added the ability for ANYONE to add a detailed description of their neighborhood within the Julington Creek Plantation. Of course, I view these additions before they go on the site.

My next plan is to add the ability for people to easily register and log in to the site. After this, I am going to add a "voting" feature to the Neighborhood descriptions (for registered users only). If this feature works out well, I will add it to as many items on the site as possible.
